Deep Ellum Arts Festival – 18TH Annual, 2012 – Dallas, Texas

This ever-growing festival consistently draws over 100,000 visual and performing arts enthusiasts to this very chic entertainment district, which is referred to as the Soho of Dallas. The continuing expansion of residential housing in the Deep Ellum neighborhood has created a significant increase in local art buyers as well. The past several years of the festival have been increasingly successful for our artists in terms of sales and exposure with this hip crowd.

Artfest is partnering with CityArts to showcase the finest artists from around the country. Artfest will take place over Memorial Day weekend in conjunction with CityArts at Fair Park in Dallas, TX. Artfest continues to be a juried art show, showcasing the finest artists from around the country and will continue to be an outdoor art show. Artists exhibiting outdoors greatly enhance the festive environment of an arts festival.

Located in the heart of the Dallas/Ft.Worth metroplex, lies Richard Greene Linear Park, home of Art on the Greene. Nestled between The Ballpark in Arlington and Cowboys Stadium this venue is sure to impress artists and art lovers alike!

The 3rd Annual Downtown Art and Street Fair is Saturday, March 31st, from 10am-6pm in the 200 block of W. 26th Street in historic downtown Bryan, Texas. The event features artists and artisans as well as live music and street performers. An arts demonstration and hands on art activity area for all ages will also be part of the festivities. Over the last several years, downtown Bryan has actively fostered the arts. This fair continues to build on that- inviting area arts lovers to attend as well as actively marketing the event to Texas A&M students and their parents. This is a recognized event of Texas A&M Parent’s Weekend. Admission is free.

2ND SATURDAY SAN JACINTO STREET ART MARKET

Hosted by the Rockwall Main Street Program and the Old Town Shoppes of Rockwall, the San Jacinto Street Art Market in Downtown Rockwall runs from May through October and is open from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM on the 2nd Saturday of each month. The Art Market is located on San Jacinto Street between (Washington and Rusk Streets) across from the Historic Courthouse, where the highly successful Farmers Market serves 500+ customers each Saturday. 

The SJS Art Market serves as a marketplace for local artists who have a passion to share their talents with the community.  The Art Market is looking for one-of-a-kind, hand-made: jewelry, photography, candles, paintings, stationary, frames, pillows, holiday décor, clothing, handbags, hats, aromatiques, stitchery, stained glass, pottery, quilts, paintings, and other unique creations.  The sponsors envision the Art Market becoming a regular stop for local and regional visitors and are currently coordinating with our downtown restaurants to feature outdoor dining and musical talent.
